About Us

I have always had a passion for motorbikes, my first bike being a Suzuki RG400 Gamma Japanese Import which was waiting for me at a local bike dealer when I first passed my bike test back in 90's. Since then I have owned around 26 bikes ranging from a Kawasaki ZXR750R K1/M1, Honda 954 Fireblade, Yamaha R1 2008, Ducati 749/916/900SS/996/848/1098/1198/888, Aprilia RSV1000 (x2), Suzuki RGV250 (x2) and even a couple of Harley Davidson's.

I have had a previous Career spanning 23 years working in the Motor Trade, firstly as a Trainee Porsche Technician, then qualifying as a Porsche Technician, then becoming a Mercedes Service Advisor, then Trainee Mercedes Sale Executive to becoming a qualified Sales Executive then finishing my last 10 years as a Ferrari Sales Executive.

At the age of 40 I decided to start to start something new and went with a Carbon Fibre business, having discovered how great the visual impact of Carbon Fibre looked on both bikes and cars. I always enjoyed being hands on, upgrading my own bikes to have that WOW factor and making them look even more eye catching and unique than before. So what better than Carbon!!

In the early days of the business I decided to travel around the globe to find the right manufacturers. I needed companies who would be able to work with me to design and create Carbon Fibre Product's that are of a high standard and strong build quality. The business is now in its 16th year (as of July 26) and its still going strong!!

You can often find me at local Track Day events or Race Meetings and annually go to the Isle of Man TT.  The Carbon King is proud to have sponsored/supported riders such as Michael Dunlop and Jenny Tinmouth in the past, whom we have supplied various Carbon Fibre Components to.
